White Box Enterprises’ Financial Wellbeing Program for Jobs-Focused Social Enterprises: Cycle 3 Final Evaluation Report

SUMMARY
This report shares evaluation findings from Year 3 of White Box Enterprises' Financial Wellbeing Program, funded by the Ecstra Foundation. The program aimed to equip social enterprise staff to embed financial wellbeing education within their organisation; and enable diverse cohorts of employees to increase their confidence and skills in relation to money matters.
Between 2023 and 2025, the Financial Wellbeing Program delivered training to 16 social enterprises, and reached a total of 275 participants. Our evaluation found that social enterprises valued the co-design process, adaptable program content, and training to support ongoing delivery.
Social enterprises were able to integrate the Financial Wellbeing Program into their broader training frameworks, and increase awareness and support for employees presenting with financial issues. Employees who participated in the Financial Wellbeing Program consistently reported improved understanding and knowledge of money management.
This third and final evaluation report details the findings from Year 3 of the Financial Wellbeing Program, and provides overall program reflections across Years 1 - 3.
