Dr Sahar Faghidno

Sahar is a Marketing Specialist at the Centre for Social Impact Flinders (CSI Flinders) , after completing her PhD research in food insecurity. Sahar's PhD topic contributes to a funded Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project titled “Towards 'Zero Hunger': Improving Food Relief Services in Australia.”
Her PhD focused on exploring and improving food relief clients’ journeys, experiences, and outcomes within the South Australian social support system
Sahar is now employed as a Marketing Specialist, where she works on commercial and academic research projects for CSI and Flinders University clients, including government, non-government, and not-for-profit organisations. Her primary responsibilities include evaluating partner organisations' service and program performance, measuring program awareness and dissemination strategies, tracking client satisfaction levels, and assessing the impact of services and programs on client outcomes. She provides recommendations to enhance brand trust and improve client outcomes for partner organisations.
Prior to joining CSI Flinders, Sahar worked as a Marketing Scientist at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, University of South Australia. Her primary responsibilities included evaluating customer campaigns, measuring brand assets, and providing recommendations for brand growth. Her Master’s research focused on the long-term effects of mental availability on brand choice, published in 2019.
