Michelle Cripps

Michelle has worked as an economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia as well as in environmental economics and regional development consulting. Through these positions, she gained experience with environmental economics, quantitative and qualitative research, and communicating about complex concepts with a wide range of audiences. She is passionate about evidence-based policymaking and finding ways to bring market incentives in line with social good.

Michelle holds a Masters in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics (LSE), where she completed a dissertation examining the impacts of improved seed promotion programmes on Nigerian farmers’ experiences of food insecurity. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney.
