Dr Leanne Lester
Dr Leanne Lester is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Impact UWA (CSI UWA) .
Leanne is an epidemiologist and biostatistician with over 20 years’ experience in evaluation.
She is currently involved in the evaluation of the Advance to Zero program - a ground-breaking national initiative of the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (AAEH) that supports local collaborative efforts to end rough sleeping homelessness - the Western Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (WAEEH), Assisting Communities through Direct Connection (ACDC) project, Out of Home Care services, a women’s refuge service, and an early intervention professional learning program.
She is also an academic in Human Science and provides specialised research methodology, data collection, linkage and data analysis expertise for business, not-for-profits, school, and community-based research, education and advocacy.
Leanne has been involved in many health program evaluations focused on mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing outcomes.
