Lauren Carter

Lauren Carter is the Business & Equity Specialist for the Centre for Inclusive Employment, Swinburne. With a diverse background spanning film and TV, anthropology, social policy, and governance, Lauren brings a unique perspective to her role. Her journey to this position reflects her unwavering commitment to empowering others and fostering inclusive and equitable environments. In addition to her role at the Centre, Lauren is also the Staff Chair of Lauren Carter is the Staff Chair for Swinburne’s Accessibility Network, where she advocates for policies that address systemic barriers and advance accessibility, equity, and inclusion within the University.
Lauren is dedicated to developing, updating, and creating systems, structures, policies, and processes that empower members to achieve their goals. She has a strong desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives and empower others. Lauren’s experience as a project and governance specialist enables her to identify and improve organisational structures and systems. She is also devoted to improving workplace culture and delivering results aligned with strategic and operational objectives.
