Katie Stubley

Katie has been a facilitator, design strategist, and process-designer for over 10 years. For the last six years, she has been immersed in the field of social impact, ecosystem thinking, and design for innovation both internationally and locally. She uses her background in facilitation, strategic design, and resource development to find the most useful tools and design processes to create meaningful change. Katie is passionate about developing a strong ecosystem to foster social impact. She always aspires to build community and to empower people to create positive social change. She's an avid learner and will delve into anything that helps her create a stronger impact.

Katie worked as the Strategic Design Manager at the Centre for Social Impact UWA for seven years, working across the public engagement, education, and research streams. She has lectured in this unit since 2016 and has taught and facilitated in several other programs, including the Centre for UNSW MBAx Design for Social Innovation, Learning for Purpose, and within the School for Social Entrepreneur's programs. Katie has worked closely with a number of organisations that focus on deep transformation, systems innovation, and social design, including the Presencing Institute, Griffith University Centre for Systems Innovation, and Commonland. Across these organisations, she specialises in Societal and Social Design and Innovation. She holds a Bachelor of Education and has completed the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact.
