Karissa Charlton is the Centre Manager for the Centre for Inclusive Employment at the Centre for Social Impact Swinburne, CSI Swinburne.

Karissa has over 14 years of administrative experience within Swinburne’s School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship (SoBLE). She began her career at Swinburne as an Academic Support Officer and has since held several roles including Executive Officer / Executive Assistant and HR Operations.

More recently, Karissa worked in the research space as Centre Manager for the former Centre for Transformative Innovation, where she supported SoBLE’s research activities.

Prior to working in the higher education sector, Karissa worked in event management, coordinating large-scale music festivals and managing music performers, and has also worked in real estate.

Karissa completed her Master of Business Administration at Swinburne in 2023.
