Dr Misol Kim

Dr Misol Kim works as a Senior Lecturer and Course Authority at the UNSW Centre for Social Impact. Misol holds a PhD in Education for Sustainable Development, a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, a Master's degree in Sustainable Development, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering.
Misol is an experienced interdisciplinary educator and educational researcher. She specialises in the development of educational assessments, scale development, and educational psychology for sustainability. Before joining UNSW, Misol worked in educational research and sustainability education across four faculties at Monash University in Australia and the Centre for Sustainable Development at Uppsala University in Sweden.
Misol is committed to creating thought provoking and engaging educational programs that help students become change makers for a sustainable society. Misol's research and teaching have a common goal: to empower students to create a sustainable future. At UNSW CSI, Misol teaches postgraduate courses such as Social & Environmental Sustainability, Social & Environmental Outcomes Measurement, and Social Impact Field Project. She is also involved in the undergraduate course Creating Social Change.
