Dr Ehsan Abedin
Dr Ehsan Abedin has a background in data science and analytics, he previously held postdoctoral research roles at the University of Melbourne and Monash University. Dr Abedin completed his PhD in Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne in 2023.
His research interests include business analytics, social commerce, social network analysis, and data-driven decision-making. Dr Abedin’s work has been published in reputable outlets such as Acta Psychologica, PLoS ONE, and the Pacific Asia Journal of the Association for Information Systems. He has also presented at leading information systems conferences, including the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS), and the Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS).
By applying analytical methodologies and insights, Dr Abedin’s teaching and research inform strategies that leverage data for positive social impact and more effective organizational decision-making.
