Dr Brendan Grigg

Admitted to legal practice in 1998, Dr Grigg brought extensive experience in native title and environmental law to Flinders University when he joined in 2010. Prior to his academic career, he served in the South Australian Crown Solicitor’s Office, where he advised on complex issues of native title and environmental policy. During this time, he also held an in-house solicitor role with the South Australian Environment Protection Authority and subsequently practiced with a specialist planning and development law firm in Adelaide.

Drawing on his professional background, Dr Grigg’s work at CSI Flinders integrates legal expertise with social impact perspectives, informing his teaching and research across law, policy, and community engagement.
