Dr Ashleigh Powell

Dr Ashleigh Powell lectures in Marketing for Health, Wellbeing, and Social Impact, Market Research, and Branding and Advertising, which demonstrates her expertise in the areas of social change, consumer insights, and campaign development and evaluation.
She has a background in psychology, and therefore a strong understanding of the psychological, social, and biological factors that underpin individual attitudes, feelings, behaviours, as well as barriers and drivers of attitude and behaviour change.
She is a mixed-methods researcher with a particular interest in consumer psychology, social marketing, co-design, and program outcome evaluations using quantitative tools. She has worked on projects for the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education, VicHealth, and the Department of Human Services SA.
