Carole Katz

Carole Katz (she/her) is the Industry Engagement & Communications Adviser at the Centre for Social Impact at The University of Western Australia (CSI UWA) .

With over 14 years of experience in communications and engagement, she has a proven track record delivering successful results and events for iconic Perth-based organisations, including Telethon Kids Institute, the Future of Work Institute at Curtin University and The University of Western Australia (UWA). She felt at home coming back to UWA for her role at CSI.

To develop and implement effective communications strategies, Carole draws on her digital, creative and project management skills to raise the CSI UWA brand profile and drive stakeholder engagement and with impactful storytelling. Carole enjoys collaborating on the diverse range of research projects at CSI UWA and she always looks forward to sharing findings and insights to inspire and catalysing social change.

Carole has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Public Policy) from Murdoch University and a Bachelor of English Culture and Language studies in Nancy, France.

She enjoys a portfolio career where she performs the joyful Creole music and dance from the Indian Ocean islands where she is from.
