Workshop Content
- Understand the language, key concepts and uses of Program Logic
- Look at best-practice approaches to engage with stakeholders, create a Program Logic together, align goals and increase buy-in
- Map inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes to tell a compelling story
- Explore how Program Logics can align with funding and strategic goals
- Incorporate Theory of Change as a complement to Program Logic
- Build in complexity, systems thinking and non-linear change processes into ‘program models’
- Learn innovative ways to visualise programs (using ‘Program Models’) for greater clarity and engagement
- Practical tools and templates for data collection and reporting
- Turn Program Logic into meaningful insights for decision-making

Facilitators
Lisette Kaleveld
Lisette is a social researcher who has worked on research and evaluation projects conducted in academic/research contexts as well as for the not-for-profit sector, as a public servant and as an independent consultant. Lisette has led a significant number national, state-wide and locally based evaluation projects as the principal researcher/team leader, and has undertaken capacity building projects including facilitating training, tools and frameworks for community development officers to measure the impact of their work in local government. Lisette’s
evaluation experience spans the mental health sector, education and disability sectors. Lisette is convener for the Australian Evaluation Society (WA Branch).
Syarif Abdul-Wahed
Syarif Abdul-Wahed (he/him) is a Research Officer at the Centre for Social Impact UWA (CSI UWA) . His role within the team is to help provide research and evaluation support through a range of activities, including the preparation of literature reviews, planning of research designs, leading community, or stakeholder engagement, and assisting in data analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Science with a double degree in Mathematics and Statistics, and Human Geography and Planning from the University of Western Australia. Integrating his two study areas, he is passionate about bringing life and meaning to numbers to assist in key decision-making and solving social challenges for the wider benefit of others. Syarif also has a particular interest in the social impacts of urban planning.
