The Centre for Social Impact will award up to 220 fully funded scholarships in 2027, helping more people across Australia’s for-purpose sector access world-class professional development.
Scholarships are available across two of our flagship programs:
- Governance for Social Impact
- The Giving Academy

Are you a not-for-profit board director?

If you currently serve on the board of an Australian charity, the Governance for Social Impact short course is designed for you.
Governance for Social Impact helps board directors move beyond compliance and strengthen their focus on mission and impact. The virtual short course has been completed by more than 1,000 board directors and is led by experienced governance practitioners.
Fully funded scholarships are available in 2027, giving eligible board directors the opportunity to undertake the course at no cost.
Who should attend: Current board directors of Australian not-for-profit organisations interested in a fully funded Governance for Social Impact scholarship.

The Giving Academy offers two short courses to ignite effective giving. It sets a new benchmark for practical philanthropic education, bringing together expert coaching, real-world insights, proven strategies and a community committed to turning resources into meaningful change. Whether you are building your knoweldge or bringing years of experience, there's a Giving Academy course for you.
Fully funded scholarships are available in 2027, helping eligible participants access either of The Giving Academy’s short courses at no cost.
