Dr Perri Campbell

Dr Perri Campbell is a youth and gender studies scholar with extensive experience working with social enterprises in Australia and North America.

She applies Action Learning evaluation and monitoring along with critical theoretical analysis skills to support program development and organisational change. Perri has published widely about the health equity and well-being implications of social enterprises for young people. She is the author of Rethinking Young Peoples Marginalisation (Routledge, 2019), and ‘Youth resilience programs in Australia and the US: beyond neoliberal social therapeutics?’.

Her current work identifies supported employment pathways for people with experiences of marginalisation, including people with a disability and young people via the Work Integration Social Enterprise (WISE) model, and new WISE-Ability model.

Perri has been an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Deakin University and a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for the Study of Societal Issues at the University of California, Berkeley.
