The Australian Charities Report

Each year charities registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) need to lodge an Annual Information Statement (AIS) with the ACNC.

Between 2014- 2016 the Centre for Social Impact UNSW provided quantitative analysis of the AIS data and relevant data from the ACNC register, Australian Business Register and Australian Tax Office.

Called the 'Australian Charities Report', both research reports compared the profile of the Australian charitable sector to the sector internationally, and emerging trends over time.
