Jian Zhao
Jian Zhao is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Impact UWA (CSI UWA) .
Jian completed her PhD at Graduate School of Education (GSE), UWA in 2022 and the title of her thesis is “Key Predictive Factors in the Mental Health of Chinese University Students at Home and Abroad”.
She has expertise in developing and validating mental health instruments and her interests span mental health and tertiary education especially international students at tertiary level. She is motivated to conduct qualitative and quantitative research leading to policy outcomes.
Before joining CSI UWA, she was working at GSE as a casual teaching staff and research officer, involving in different research projects including a E-prime project and a suicide-related project.
