April 15 is National Youth Homeless Matters Day in Australia, "a national celebration of young people's resilience".
To coincide with this day, the Council for Homeless Persons and Parity Magazine are launching their April edition "Responding to Young People at Risk of Homelessness" and hosting a Homelessness Research Symposium, in Melbourne, Victoria.
The Symposium will be discussing the Centre for Social Impact's recent study "The Cost of Youth Homelessness in Australia" and will hear from the study's authors: University of Western Australia CSI's Professor Paul Flatau, and Dr Monkica Thielking from Swinburne University.
