impact2021: Building resilient charities to support Australia's wellbeing

22 Jun 2021, 12:30 PM - 22 Jun 2021, 1:30 PM

Hear from sector leaders Professor Kristy Muir (Centre for Social Impact) and Suzie Riddell (Social Ventures Australia) about the current state of the for-purpose sector, drawing on the recently launched research report Vital support: Building resilient charities to support Australia’s wellbeing.

In this impact2021 webinar we'll also hear from various community organisations about their own experiences, challenges and wins over the past year.

The research report - the fourth in the Partners in Recovery research series - reviews how the charity sector has been affected since the onset of COVID-19 and underlines the importance of strong charities for all Australians, along with a case for increased government supports to the sector.

It also presents six recommendations for action, including a Resilient Charities Fund - an idea that would support charities to develop more impactful and efficient ways to operate in a ‘with-Covid’ and ‘post-Covid’ environment.

We invite you to join us for an engaging panel discussion and Q&A with the audience.
