Tracy Wilcox has been the Sydney-based course convenor for Leadership for Social Impact since 2010. Her research and practice interest is in socially responsible management practice.
Understanding and enabling this involves bringing together ethics, management education and a sociological understanding of how business contexts interact with the social, environmental and political spheres.
Tracy is based at the Australian School of Business, UNSW, and has been a pioneer of ethics and sustainability education within the Faculty, and is particularly passionate about her CSI teaching She is currently involved in implementing the UNGC Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) in the ASB. Tracy was the 2009 joint recipient of the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
Tracy has published in the area of business ethics and sustainability education, management ethics and human resource development. Prior to her academic appointment she held scientific and change management positions in global organisations. She has also held voluntary leadership positions in community-based organisations.
