Syarif Abdul-Wahed
Syarif Abdul-Wahed is a Research Officer at the Centre for Social Impact UWA (CSI UWA) .
His role within the team is to help provide research and evaluation support through a range of activities, including the preparation of literature reviews, planning of research designs, leading community, or stakeholder engagement, and assisting in data analysis.
He holds a Bachelor of Science with a double degree in Mathematics and Statistics, and Human Geography and Planning from the University of Western Australia.
Integrating his two study areas, he is passionate about bringing life and meaning to numbers to assist in key decision-making and solving social challenges for the wider benefit of others. Syarif also has a particular interest in the social impacts of urban planning.
Outside CSI, he continues to explore other interest areas by regularly volunteering for not-for-profit organisations which support youth empowerment and equal opportunities in education.
