Sahar Faghidno

Sahar is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Social Impact Flinders (CSI Flinders) , and is undertaking her PhD research in food insecurity.

Sahar’s PhD topic contributes to a recently funded Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project titled “Towards 'zero hunger': improving food relief services in Australia”.

Alongside her studies, she has been working on various projects with not-for-profit organisations and the government sector. Sahar is experienced in evaluation research, preparing proposals for clients, designing questionnaires, data collection, coding, analysis, authoring written reports, and the delivery of results via phone, virtually, or in-person presentations.

Prior to joining CSI Flinders, Sahar was a Marketing Scientist at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, University of South Australia. Her Master’s research was focused on the overtime effects of mental availability on brand choice, which was published in 2019.

Sahar holds a Bachelor of Management (Marketing) and a Master’s by Research (Marketing) from the University of South Australia.
