Professor Robyn Eversole

Deputy Director, Centre for Social Impact Swinburne

Robyn Eversole is an anthropologist who studies development issues and processes in Australia and internationally.

She joins CSI Swinburne from the University of Tasmania where she was previously Director of the Institute for Regional Development.

Robyn is the author of Knowledge Partnering for Community Development (Routledge, 2015), Regional Development in Australia (Routledge, 2016), and numerous other publications on participatory development, development governance, poverty, local economies, and social enterprise in rural regions. Robyn is a member of the Australian government’s Council on Australia Latin America Relations (COALAR), a board member of the international Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA), and immediate past president of the Australia and New Zealand Regional Sciences Association International (ANZRSAI).
