Renu Burr is passionate about creating and holding spaces for leaders and social systems to flourish and has extensive experience as a facilitator of leadership with over 30 years' experience in business and academic settings.
Renu has worked in executive leadership, consultant and advisory roles to improve business and leadership effectiveness in the private, public and for-purpose sectors in Australia and overseas.
She is a highly skilled executive coach and workshop facilitator and has led and managed numerous organisational transformation programs and associated leadership development interventions.
Renu holds a doctorate in Human Resource Management and has been a faculty member in the Business School at the University of Western Australia (UWA) since 1991, teaching in the MBA and other postgraduate programs. Her most recent academic leadership position was as Director Postgraduate Programs at the Business School, UWA and she has been involved with the Centre for Social Impact UWA since its inception.
A highlight of her year is facilitating the Leadership for Social Impact Unit in the MBA and Graduate Certificate for Social Impact programs at CSI UWA.
Renu has also been involved as faculty member in Executive Development programs for CSI, such as the Action Learning for Purpose Program for community service sector organisations, the ELIAS (Engaging Leaders Innovating Across Sectors) WA, the Collective Leadership Program and Social Impact Leadership Program Australia.
Renu has been engaged in her own consulting practice since 2000 and is Director of Burr Consulting which specialises in executive development, coaching and organisational transformation, mainly in the government and for-purpose sectors.Back to Our People
