Dr Lucy Simmonds

Dr Lucy Simmonds is a Lecturer in Health Care Management and Marketing at the Centre for Social Impact Flinders (CSI Flinders) .

Lucy’s research uses consumer behaviour techniques to develop evidence and to translate evidence into practice. Her interests include social marketing, health marketing communications, consumer behaviour, research translation and implementation science, particularly to improve outcomes in childhood.

Lucy has professional experience in marketing communications for health organisations. She was previously a Research Fellow in Behaviour and Practice Change at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and an Endeavour Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.

Lucy holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours), postgraduate qualifications in science communication and a PhD in marketing.
