Kylie Hansen

Kylie Hansen is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Centre for Social Impact UWA , and Founding and Executive Director at Impact Seed , Western Australia’s peak capacity builder for impact investment and social enterprise development.

Impact Seed works in market development on both supply and demand sides for impact investment with government, not-for-profits, corporates, foundations, and family offices. Through her work at Impact Seed, Kylie also co-founded the  WA Social Enterprise Council  and the Impact Investment Alliance of WA.

Kylie has leadership and management experience across not-for-profit community services, government, private, and social finance sectors.

She uses her strong background in sustainability, governance, and impact measurement to support collaborative initiatives across sectors oriented at improving social outcomes, and to support socially conscientious businesses to articulate their social impact.

Kylie is interested in work that enables her to work across sectors, and influence policy and practice for better social outcomes. She most enjoys work that straddles two or more areas of expertise, which are social enterprise, impact investment, outcomes measurement, NFP governance, project management and strategic sector policy.

Kylie holds Bachelors degrees in Arts, Commerce, Community Development; Graduate Certificates in Project Management and Social Impact; and the Juris Doctor (UWA).
