Kam Ozonaran joined the Centre for Social Impact UNSW's postgraduate Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course, COMM5030 - Social Entrepreneurship Practicum in 2019. The purpose of this project-based course is to introduce Master of Commerce students to social enterprise thinking and skills, while helping the social enterprise system to grow.
Kam takes an innovative and passionate approach to building marketing capabilities for businesses. In the past 30 years, she has worked for a number of global companies such as Procter & Gamble and Citibank. During this time, Kam was successful in co-founding the highly respected and influential corporate marketing training consultancy, Nine Dots Marketing.
Today, Kam is the Managing Director of Matchbox Business - Marketing Temps, a recruitment firm that is disrupting the industry with an agile approach to connecting businesses with the brightest minds across Australia.
Kam has assisted the Asylum Seeker Centre by championing social justice outcomes for refugees, she is on the board of Step 2 Foundation, and also helped to develop a small business management course for the Cambodian Children’s Trust.
Kam is also involved in various university student mentoring programs and guest speaking engagements, assisting students to gain insight into the workplace in preparation for their career and entrepreneurship.
Kam holds a Bachelor of Commerce at UNSW.
