Dr Alexandra Walker

Senior Lecturer and Course Authority

Dr Alexandra Walker is a Senior Lecturer at CSI UNSW and Course Authority for postgraduate courses, COMM5205 - Leading Change for Sustainability and COMM5902 - Leadership for Social Impact. She joined CSI in November 2016.

Alexandra’s research focuses on large-scale systems change through culture and leadership. She has a PhD in Socio-Legal Studies from the Australian National University and her thesis explored group dynamics and collective consciousness.

Alexandra has also worked on a variety of initiatives at CSI, including as curriculum lead for a not-for-profit leadership program and as lead designer of a social impact leadership program for primary schools, which is being piloted at Randwick Primary School in 2020.

Alexandra also presented at TEDxUNSW in 2018 on the topic, How to read and lead the room.

Her studies have included a Masters in International Law and International Relations, undergraduate degrees in Arts and Law (with merit) at UNSW and a Graduate Diploma in Integral Coaching.

Alexandra has written books on consciousness for the wider public and is a regular contributor to Australian radio.
