Research Associate

Ally joined the Centre for Social Impact UNSW in 2019 as a Research Assisstant and has moved into the role of Research Associate. She supports the development of Amplify’s Indicator Engine and evaluates the statistical quality of its indicators. This platform is an online self-service bank of measurement tools available to social purpose organisations to increase the ease and accessibility of outcomes measurement.

Her role extends to supporting additional projects within the areas of mental health and chronic health, drawing on her early career experience in psychology and experience in quantitative research design and analysis.

Ally holds a Master of Psychology (Health) from the University of Queensland, in which she focused on behaviour change and the impact of psychological processes on the experience of chronic illness, injury and significant life transitions in both clinical and research settings.

She has a particular interest in delivering and evaluating therapeutic interventions for individuals and across communities, and the translation of health information for consumers in a meaningful and useful way.
