Thomas Writer

Research Officer

Thomas Writer is a Research Officer at CSI UNSW and his work involves measuring and reporting on the impact of programs CSI partners with.

Thomas has a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters of Public Policy from the University of New South Wales and his thesis involved understanding the antecedents to turnover intentions of youth justice centre workers and training strategies to mitigate them. ‚Äč

Prior to joining CSI, Thomas worked at the Department of Family and Community Services in the economics division and as a Technical Evaluation Officer on the Their Futures Matter reform into child protection.

His areas of work and interest include youth justice, outcomes measurement and capability building within Aboriginal programs, social housing and child protection.
