Tutor

Heather Bailey is a member of the teaching team for CSI UNSW's postgraduate Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course, COMM5030 - Social Entrepreneurship Practicum.

Outside of UNSW, Heather is the Company Secretary for the Centre for Social Purpose, a membership organisation focused on improving operational excellence within the sector.

Her volunteering experiences, most recently including community building, women’s issues, democracy, climate justice and disability, support her evolving understanding of a large and complex ecosystem.

She is also a longstanding member of Charles Sturt University’s curriculum advisory committee for their Human Resources Management undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Heather's background in senior management and executive roles in both the for-profit and for-purpose sectors informs her supervision of masters students as they complete business projects for external clients.

She uses her experience and networks to introduce students to key aspects of the for-purpose sector and her organisational development expertise to assist students in building relevant workplace skills.

Heather has a deep commitment to making the university experience in Australia a positive one for students.
