Gianna Foong is an Education Officer at CSI UNSW. She manages sessional teaching contracts and payments, oversees Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs, coordinates CSI scholarships and prizes, and acts as the Academic Integrity and Ethics Officer.
Social impact has been at the core of her career. As a university student Gianna collaborated with a diverse project team to develop and implement an institute-specific alcohol and substance abuse awareness program in alignment with the University of New Mexico’s Campus Office for Substance Abuse Prevention Strategy. She also held a volunteer position as the Public Relations Project Coordinator for the 2011 UNM Relay for Life event.
Before joining CSI, Gianna acted as the initial student point of contact for dyslexia and disability support, mental health and wellbeing, fees and bursaries, and registry at London South Bank University.
Prior to this role she spent 3 years as a Student Advisor with the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at UNSW, planning and monitoring academic progression and providing administrative support to students from a suite of MBA programs.
Gianna is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of New Mexico, where she majored in public relations and business management.
