Dr Chris Brown is a Research Fellow with the Centre for Social Impact Swinburne.
He researches community development, non-violent action and social change. Chris has a PhD in peace and conflict studies and an Honours degree in creative arts.
He has extensive experience in the community sector and has facilitated a range of projects including I Hear You, a story-gathering project exploring lived experience of severe and persistent mental illness, and Stories of Hope and Migration, a project exploring Indigenous perpectives on the refugee debate in Australia.
Chris' work on peace, non-violence and militarism has been published in Global Change, Peace and Security, Peace Review, Cosmopolitan Civil Societies, Gandhi Marg, New Community Quarterly and the Journal for Peacebuilding and Development.Back to Our People
