Research Fellow
Dr Chris Brown is a Research Fellow with the Centre for Social Impact Swinburne.
He researches community development, non-violent action and social change. Chris has a PhD in peace and conflict studies and an Honours degree in creative arts.
He has extensive experience in the community sector and has facilitated a range of projects including I Hear You, a story-gathering project exploring lived experience of severe and persistent mental illness, and Stories of Hope and Migration, a project exploring Indigenous perpectives on the refugee debate in Australia.
Chris' work on peace, non-violence and militarism has been published in Global Change, Peace and Security, Peace Review, Cosmopolitan Civil Societies, Gandhi Marg, New Community Quarterly and the Journal for Peacebuilding and Development.
