Ben Pecotich is Social Entrepreneur-in-Residence for CSI UNSW's postgraduate Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course, COMM5030 - Social Entrepreneurship Practicum.
Ben is a designer, innovation coach, and social enterprise/startup founder. He collaborates with people to design and build ideas for happier communities that are more empowered, inclusive and sustainable, and over the past 27+ years he’s focused on designing and leading strategic change in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Europe - combining strategy, design, technology, consulting and program management.
Ben is the founder and Managing Director of Dynamic4, a purpose-driven design and innovation company (also a social enterprise and certified B Corp) he founded in 2001.
Dynamic4 take a human-centred design and innovation approach to helping their clients design sustainable business models with embedded impact and a clear value exchange. They also design and build digital solutions that deliver and scale their clients' impact to thrive in a connected world.
Ben is the co-founder of the Sydney Design Thinking meetup, a community of more than 7,000 members who meet monthly to explore the world of design thinking as a human-centred approach to innovation and solving complex problems.
He is also a founding Board Member of the Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA), the member-led peak body representing the interests of social entrepreneurs and social enterprises across NSW and the ACT.Back to Our People
