This project examines gender equality in male dominated industries using data from the 2014 Australian Workplace Relation Study (AWRS). It investigates direct measures of gender equality, such as gender pay equity and whether gender is perceived as a barrier in the workplace, and indirect measures of gender equality, such as access to flexible work practices and how salaries are negotiated.
