Congratulations to Nicole Moore who is the first recipient ever of the new Emeritus Professor Richard Henry & Dr Rachel Oberon Indigenous Advantage MBA SI Scholarship. The scholarship is designed to assist an Indigenous student to enter or complete the AGSM MBA (Social Impact). The value of the scholarship is $40,000 paid against tuition fees across the program duration.
Nicole is currently studying towards the MBA full time as well as working as a casual Academic at the University of Wollongong.
“I can’t express how grateful I am to Professor Henry, Dr Oberon and the CSI team. One of the many costs of my previous employer, Habitat winding up was that I thought I’d be unable to afford to continue my studies. This scholarship means the financial burden is relieved and I can now afford to concentrate on my studies. The MBA (Social Impact) really does offer the best of both worlds – a rigorous and well regarded business degree, combined with leading knowledge of how to make a positive social impact. I look forward to being able to apply my new skills and knowledge to keep fighting for social justice for Aboriginal people”.
Twelve other postgraduate scholarships and prizes were presented to CSI students on the night at the UNSW Business School 2018 Awards. Congratulations to all. For the full list see below:
