Keywords: Leadership and capacity building, Public and social policy -  leadership

The Centre for Social Impact leadership team is participating in the Public Sector Summit 2012 this week, organised in partnership with Cisco.

The Summit is an exclusive event that brings together international thought leaders to share powerful ideas and discuss the challenges around citizen engagement, public sector reform and democratic renewal.

The event is taking place in Victoria and you can follow updates on Twitter @PublicSectorANZ search under:#ANZPSS

Leading economist and public administration thinker from Libya, Dr Tarik Yousef, is one of the keynote speakers at the Summit. Dr Yousef is also the CEO of Silatech, a social enterprise in the Middle East that aims 'to connect young people with employment and enterprise opportunities'.

As well as speaking at the Summit, Dr Yousef also delivered a lecture on the Arab Spring as part of the Social Innovator Dialogues February Festival at the University of South Australia.

ABC News Breakfast recently interviewed Dr Yousef on 'where to now?' for governments in the Middle East following the Arab Spring. Watch the interview.

For more information on the Social Innovator Dialogues forum and to register visit the CSI events page.
