Deadline extended for Graduate Certificate in Social Impact Scholarships

The Graduate Certificate in Social Impact builds the professional capacity of current and emerging social managers and entrepreneurs across the corporate, government and social (not-for-profit) sectors. Graduates of the qualification are better equipped to lead organisations creating social and environmental value and innovation, and will enhance their ability to operate in rapidly evolving cross-sector social landscape.

 

There are various scholarships available for students enrolled in the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact program at one of our business schools: the Australian School of Business at UNSW, Swinburne University of Technology and the UWA Business School.

 

To qualify for a scholarship to complete the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact, students need to be enrolled at the university of their choice before the closing date of scholarship applications.

Eligibility criteria includes:

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience;
  • Demonstrated interest in, and current or future commitment to, supporting or contributing to a not-for-profit organisation or social enterprise;
  • Demonstrated leadership or potential leadership qualities;
  • Academic merit;
  • Reasons for undertaking the proposed course of study;
  • Potential to contribute to the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact program and the CSI community; and
  • Social or economic circumstances.

Scholarships range from $5,000 to $10,000 and are provided by CSI’s sponsors AMP, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Richard and Julia Fleming, Foxtel, Freehills, Macquarie Group Foundation, Microsoft, Nelson Meers Foundation, NAB, PwC, Shark Island Foundation, Stockland and Kim Wiliams. CSI thanks our sponsors for their continued support.

 

The closing date to apply has just been extended to 2nd February 2012 at 5pm.
