Our Postgraduate Program

At the Centre for Social Impact we offer the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact, a pathway to Master Degrees: MBA (Social Impact) or Social Investment and Philanthropy.

For established and emerging leaders of social change, the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact has a uniquely comprehensive curriculum based on systems thinking and social design principles. Our teachers are widely regarded as some of the leading lights in social impact, social investment, social enterprise, corporate social responsibility, and social innovation.

Students taking the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact gain rich theoretical and real world case study knowledge that is directly applicable to leading meaningful and sustained cross-sectoral social change in Australia.

The GCSI is composed of four subjects: one core (Social Impact: Entrepreneurs and Social Innovation) and three electives. The GCSI is offered in Sydney at UNSW Australia, in Melbourne at Swinburne University of Technology and in Perth at The University of Western Australia. The GCSI courses are ANZSOG approved as electives within their EMPA (Exec. Master of Public Administration).

For more information about the pathways to Master programs, see below.

MBA (Social Impact)

The Centre for Social Impact offers two MBA (Social Impact) programs: at UNSW Australia and at The University of Western Australia.

UNSW Australia:

We are proud to be partnering with AGSM @ UNSW Business School on the MBA (Social Impact). The MBA (Social Impact) is part of a new online MBA program launched by AGSM, and includes MBA (Change) and MBA (Technology). Students of the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact (GCSI) can articulate into the MBA (Social Impact) as the course draws on the GCSI courses for the social impact specialisation.

Visit the AGSM @ UNSW Business School FAQ website to find all the information you need for studying the MBA (Social Impact) UNSW Australia.

 UWA:

Students of the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact (GCSI) can articulate into the MBA (Social Impact) as part of the MBA Flexible. The course draws on the GCSI courses for the social impact specialisation.

All MBA (Social Impact) courses are ANZSOG approved as electives within their EMPA (Exec. Master of Public Administration).

Visit the UWA Business School website to find all the information you need for studying at The University of Western Australia.
