Peter Shergold with Premier Anna Bligh and Theodora Le Souquet, Chair of the Queensland Writers Centre

Peter Shergold, the Macquarie Group Foundation Professor at the Centre for Social Impact, gave the keynote presentation at a function for BoardConnect in Brisbane at which the Queensland Premier and Arts Minister Anna Bligh announced $150,000 over two years to support BoardConnect’s continued work in the state.

BoardConnect provides accessible, pro-active support to arts organisations on governance and management, and Professor Shergold spoke on the topic of Governance in the Non-Profit Sector to an audience of over 100.
