Professor Robyn Eversole

Robyn Eversole is an anthropologist who studies development issues and processes in Australia and internationally.

She joins CSI Swinburne from the University of Tasmania where she was previously Director of the Institute for Regional Development.

Robyn is the author of Knowledge Partnering for Community Development (Routledge, 2015), Regional Development in Australia (Routledge, 2016), and many other publications on participatory development, poverty, community engagement, development governance, local economic development and social enterprise.

Originally from West Virginia, Robyn has worked in Latin America, the Asia-Pacific, and across rural and regional Australia to explore practical development questions with local partners in a range of real-world cultural and social settings.

She is currently President, Australia and New Zealand Regional Sciences Association International (ANZRSAI) and a board member of the Council on Australia Latin America Relations (COALAR).
