Lisa Lusthaus

Lisa Lusthaus has worked at Centre for Social Impact UNSW (CSI UNSW) since its inception in 2008 and currently works part time as the Secretariat Officer of the Sydney Advisory Council.

She completed a Bachelor of Science, Applied Psychology (Honours) from UNSW, and began her career as a research psychologist at The Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children, working in the Child Safety Centre on child accident prevention.

In addition to publishing numerous articles on childhood accidents, Lisa worked with the Helping Hand child safety program and served on the board of the Child Accident Prevention Foundation.

For more than a decade Lisa was the publisher of MicroPress, Australia’s Newspaper for Children - a unique national news bulletin for primary school children to encourage them to read about current affairs.

Lisa is a Director of the Macular Disease Foundation Australia .
