Gianni has been an Adjunct Assoc.Professor with the Centre for Social Impact since 2008 where he developed and taught postgraduate courses and workshops in Corporate Responsibility, Social Impact Assessment and Spiritual-based leadership. From 2003 to 2016, he was Director of Orfeus Research, a boutique consultancy that assisted organisations demonstrate their social impact and advised organisations including The Westpac Foundation (2005-13), Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Fundraising Institute Australia, Mission Australia, WorkVentures, The George Institute, CanTeen, Big Brother Big Sister Australia, The Australia Council, and Philanthropy Australia.
In 2016 he founded Orfeus SQ, which helps people and organisations achieve meaningful social impact by applying the principles of Spiritual Intelligence (SQ). Gianni has held teaching, research and policy positions at the Universities of Sydney, Cambridge, Wollongong, the ANU, Parliament House Canberra, NSW Government agencies and The Smith Family. He has a First Class Honours degree in Economics & Industrial Relations from the University of Sydney, a Masters (with Distinction) in Political Science from the University of London and a Doctorate from the Faculty of Economics & Politics at the University of Cambridge. He has also undertaken accredited training in a range of social impact & personal development frameworks, including LogFrame, Social Accounting, SROI, the Holistic Development Model, HeartMath and The Callings Program. He has published on a wide range of social and economic policy issues including Corporate Responsibility, Spirituality and Business and social impact assessment.Back to Our People
