Alexandra Walker is a Lecturer at the Centre for Social Impact, UNSW Sydney, and is currently the lecturer-in-charge of the undergraduate course, Creating Social Change: From Innovation to Impact.
Alexandra’s research focuses on large-scale systems change through business, human rights and leadership.
Alexandra has a PhD in Law (Socio-Legal Studies) from the Australian National University. Her thesis examined collective consciousness, gender and international law. Alexandra completed a Master’s degree in International Law and International Relations and undergraduate degrees in Arts and Law (with Merit) at UNSW Sydney. Alexandra also has a Graduate Diploma in Integral Coaching.
Prior to joining CSI, Alexandra held roles as a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University, a sessional lecturer and tutor at the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences UNSW, and as a consultant to Lendlease on culture change. Alexandra has also worked as a Prosecution Officer at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (NSW). Alexandra has written books on consciousness for the wider public and has weekly radio segments on 2GB 873am and 2UE Talking Lifestyle.
